Would you be disappointed if caryl goes canon in season 2 the book of Carol spinoff? I get the vibe from Norman and Melissa it's heading towards that.

well, i gave up on the walking dead a long long time ago. i barely ever even hear anything about what's going on on those shows, honestly. the only time something breaks through (or even just makes enough splash on the internet to matter, at all) is if whatever happened was so stupid that people can't help but trend it. daryl and carol going canon would certainly be one of those things. but, i honestly would just look at it as the desperate final move that it would be?

i know some people would view it as the ultimate slow burn. but, i'd pretty much just see it as what it is: finally succumbing to something they've been harassed about for years, because they know it'll make a splash and they need all the splashes they can get. so, i suppose i'd be generally disappointed? because, i genuinely think that's a bad pairing and i don't really like that certain people in that fanbase will have 'won' lololol but, i'm not attached to what's going on in those shows, anymore. i don't know what the plots are. i don't even know who's alive and who's dead.

the daryl in that relationship isn't my daryl. i don't know this guy. (even the carol in these seasons isn't my carol, that i know). i can't remember when i stopped watching? probably somewhere in season seven (and i only made it that far, because i watched it with someone else). all i can assume is that their getting together would be just as lame as i always thought it would be. just as little romantic chemistry. but, their current audience would be thrilled and hoorah for them, i suppose.
